Lathrop Café was created around the idea that Stanford students deserve a haven perfectly suited to studying, writing, brainstorming, and all the stuff that happens in-between.
Our mission is to provide you with a simple and easy experience ordering your coffee, snack, or meal so you can get back to doing the stuff that matters, like studying for that exam, writing that paper, or finishing that group project.
Convenience is one of the most important things to consider when you’re choosing a study or dining place, especially when your schedule is already full of classes, studying, and socializing.
You can’t afford to waste any of your time commuting or waiting around while your order is slowly forgotten about in a restaurant.
That’s why we provide fast, professional service at our location right on campus, in the basement of the Lathrop Library.
You can access our café either by the stairs in the 24-hour study room in the library or by elevator on the north side of the building.
[Visit our online ordering and catering page to read how you can further simplify your experience – and save money along the way.]
We don’t think you should have to study in boring chain coffeeshops if you don’t want to. #lathropcafestudy
